Veset Returns to Hamburg OPEN in 2026

After the success of 2025, Veset starts the new year with a return visit to Hamburg OPEN from 14-15 January.

The Hamburg OPEN has become the kickoff highlight of the year and a solid feature in the events calendar for a second time with its access to both existing and potential customers within the German market.

Once again, Veset will be showcasing its flagship product, Veset Nimbus with the new self-service subscription offering launched last year. The broadcast community can also expect to learn about real-world customer experiences and see demonstrations of how cloud playout can be used to empower all content owners.

A highlight this year will see CTO Martins Magone return to the Media Tech Stage with a presentation on “Cloud-Native Disaster Recovery for German Broadcasters — Meet Veset Nimbus”, on Wednesday 14th January, 11:30-11:55.

Other highlights on the Veset stand include:

  • True cloud playout with Veset Nimbus – demonstrating how broadcasters and content owners can manage, launch and monetise linear TV channels entirely from the cloud with scalability and flexibility.
  • Benefits of cloud-based SaaS solutions – discussions around reducing infrastructure costs, increasing agility and enabling rapid time-to-market for new channels or pop-ups without heavy on-premise hardware.
  • Self-service subscriptions – instant access to trial cloud playout services online to simplify onboarding, enabling broadcasters to spin up services quickly without traditional sales cycles.
  • Spotlight on disaster recovery – learn how cloud-native playout can serve as a resilient disaster recovery (DR) strategy for broadcasters. Read our recent interview with AU Journal on working with Latvian Public Media on its DR strategy – Baltic Broadcasters Disaster Preparedness.
